Program
Fun, love and play form the basics of our program. While there is some structured learning time throughout the day, we believe that children learn as a result of their interactions with each other during play within the childcare setting. Our staff will provide an environment with many activity centers where children can play and learn. There is a mixture of quiet and active play areas, as well as areas which promote individual and group interaction. There are activities that stimulate the mind as well as activities that help to develop small and large muscle skills. Centreville Child Care welcomes ALL children. It is our mission to provide care to a wide range of children regardless of religion, nationality, social or physical status. We are a full inclusion daycare. This provides all of the children with many benefits as well as opportunities to learn about differences. It helps to instil the standards and values that promote compassion, patience and acceptance. We consider each child a unique individual and believe that mutual respect and trust is the base line for a healthy staff/child relationship. Staff will interact with children, supervising, guiding, helping, laughing, listening and talking. By
providing a positive and stimulating environment, we will strive to
develop each child to their full potential.
Preschool Centreville
Child Care offers a quality preschool program. We seek to provide an environment that supports the development of all children through social interaction, songs, games and developmentally appropriate activities. Preschool hours are from 9:30 – 12:00. 3 year olds attend one morning per week. 4 year olds attend two mornings per week. Our preschool program runs for October to May and follows the school calendar for holidays and breaks. Contact us to enrol your child as there is usually a waiting list. Registration night is held in August. Contact us for prices and to enrol your child. After School
They will be accompanied from Centreville Community School each day and given outside playtime, weather permitting. Be sure that your child is dressed for the season! We also offer care for after school children on full days for an additional cost. (ex: breaks, storm days, teacher curriculum days, etc…) Afterschoolers will be given healthy afternoon snacks but should bring their morning snack and noon lunch on full days. Centreville Child Care offers a fun packed summer program which includes swimming, arts, games, nature walks and exciting adventures.
